We are in business since 2000. We do distribution, marketing and PR for thematic television channels. We have sucessfully launched in Poland such well-known brands as National Geographic, BBC thematic channels or groups of channels ZONE.
Program belongs to Capital Group of 4FUN Media SA, company presented on Warsaw Stock Exchange. 4fun Media is innovative company running 4 music tv channels, has it’s own interactive tv platform (scheduler, interaction module, player, streamer, live tv) and distributes it’s content via television, mobile telephony, IPTV and Internet. 4fun Media in 2013 developed most innovative second screen application – 4FUN APP.
With its three satellite music television channels the Company has successfully increased its market share by over 150 percent over the last five years. One of them 4FUN.TV is the second most viewed music television channel in Poland
With its extensive business know-how and technological efficiency, the Company is able to launch new satellite and IPTV television channels as well as expand into mobile and internet video content markets.
Market – growing opportunity
The Polish advertising market is the second largest media market in CEE right after Russia. In 2013 it was valued at c. PLN 7 bn by Starlink Media House. Market growth has been driven predominantly by Internet, which attracts new advertising budgets and is steadily taking market share from press and outdoor. Television accounts for over 50 percent of the total advertising market with thematic channels expected to further increase their market share. In 2013 the total value of advertising in thematic television reached PLN 760m, representing c. 11 percent of the total advertising spend in Poland. Year to year this market share is rapidly growing.
Advertising revenue generated by thematic channels in Poland has expanded between 2011 and 2013 by 4%. The Polish advertising market is likely to follow trends from more mature advertising markets, such as the US, where thematic channels account for c. 70 percent of total television advertising spend.
